Apple has officially released the Watch Series 6 and the Watch SE

Apple has introduced the new Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE. Many of the rumors surrounding the Apple Watch Series 6 have been confirmed, so there was no big news about the Apple Watch at the event.

Apple Watch Series 6

Apple Watch Series 6 is an updated version of its predecessor Series 5 which has many new features added.
It has Apple’s new S6 chipset. Regarding the new dual-core chip included in it, Apple claims that it is 20% faster than the S5 included in the Apple Watch Series 5.

It also integrates a U1 chip whose ultra wide band antennas enable short range wireless location.
With this feature you can use your Watch Series 6 as the car’s digital keys.

The Watch Series 6 uses the same chassis as the Watch Series 5 but has a blue and product red aluminum finish. There are two stainless steel versions of the Watch Series 6, Graphite and Classic Yellow Gold.

The Watch Series 6 has a new heart rate sensor installed below that can also measure the amount of oxygen in the blood (SpO2).
Watch OS 7 gives VO2 Max readings from the user’s movement and heartbeat data. It gives the overall level of the user’s fitness. Watch Series 6 can track user sleep. It can detect hand washing and provides data on many types of exercise.
The new and improved Always On Display mode in the Watch Series 6 is almost two and a half times brighter than before.
Apple has also added a new Altimeter.
The battery time of the Watch Series 6 is about 18 hours like that of the Watch Series 5, while with the support of fast charging, it gets fully charged in about an hour and a half.
Pre-orders for the Watch Series 6 have begun, with delivery beginning Friday, September 18. Prices for the Aluminum GPS Only model start at 39 399 (40mm size) and 42 429 (44mm size).
The GPS and cellular versions cost 4 499 and 52 529, respectively. The stainless steel models cost more.

Apple Watch SE

Apple has also introduced a more affordable Apple Watch SE. It includes a Series 5 design, heart rate monitor and chipset, but a Series 6 accelerometer, gyroscope and Always On Altimeter.

Apple Watch SE sensors also detect a slight difference in the height of the watch, that is, one foot. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch SE have also begun. Its delivery will also start from Friday.

The 40mm model starts at 27 279 and the 44mm model starts at 30 309. The cellular connectivity option costs 32 329 and 35 359.

Apple will also continue to sell its Watch Series 3. The 38mm model is priced at 199 199 and the 42mm model is priced at 22 229.
