Fried Kasuri Chicken Recipe


  • Chicken (boneless) 1/2 kg
  • Kasuri methi 1 teaspoon
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion (cut into slices) 2 pieces (medium)
  • Tomatoes (cut into cubes) 4-5 pieces (medium)
  • White cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • 1 piece of coal
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed

Preparation tips

  • Put chicken in a bowl, add ginger garlic paste and keep for a while.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, add chicken and fry lightly.
  • Put onion in the same oil, fry it and take out the onion in the plate.
  • Put yogurt, tomatoes and fried onions in a blender and blend to make a paste.
  • Now add a little more oil to the remaining oil and add tomato, onion and yoghurt paste, cook it a little, add red pepper, salt and white cumin and cook for a while more.
  • Add chicken, fry it well and put it on low heat.
  • When the chicken is melted, add Kasuri methi file in it and cook for 1 minute and turn off the stove.
  • Heat the charcoal and put it on the chicken and cover it with a few drops of oil. After 1 minute, take it out in a serving dish and garnish it with green coriander and green chillies.
  • Fried Kasuri chicken is ready.
