Mongolian Beef Recipe

Ingredients

  • Undercut beef half a kilo
  • Salt to taste
  • A tablespoon of crushed garlic
  • A teaspoon of crushed white pepper
  • Three teaspoons of sugar
  • Two tablespoons of cornflour
  • Three tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Custom green onions
  • Cooking oil as required

Preparation tips

  • Wash the undercut beef and keep it in the freezer for ten to fifteen minutes then cut it into strips.
  • Cut the onion leaves into lengths.
  • In a bowl, add salt, half a teaspoon of white pepper, two teaspoons of sugar and two tablespoons of soy sauce to make marinade.
  • Sprinkle cornflour on the meat strips then put it in the prepared marinade, mix well and leave for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan and fry the marinated meat in it till light golden and keep it covered (so that the color of the meat does not deteriorate).
  • At meal time, heat two to three tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan and add crushed garlic and white part of chopped onion.
  • Then add fried meat and sprinkle salt, white pepper, sugar and soy sauce on it and fry on high heat.
  • Finally add the green onion leaves and remove from the heat.
  • Start this delicious dish with hot butter rice.
